Conductor and driver attacked with machetes in Milan – ANSA.it

Two people were taken to the offices of the police headquarters in Milan and were being interrogated for aggression Two railway workers with machetes took place last night in the station of the railway link Villapizzone (Milan), after which one of them lost an arm. The suspects would be two South Americans, one of them covered in blood. At the moment the police are listening to their version. They were blocked immediately after the attack which, by preliminary reports, would take place on the train (and not in the dock as announced at the beginning) because the group of South Americans refused to show the ticket to the conductor. The other railroad worker of 31 years, which was free of duty, was shot in the head by acting in aid of his colleague. Investigators are gathering testimony from other passengers who were on site at the time of the attack.

A strike would be least likely of three young South American origin who refused to show the ticket.
