Brazil: Petrobras scandal, Lula stopped for questioning – The Republic

SAN PAOLO – The Brazilian police have detained former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva , after having searched his home, for questioning as part of the ‘ investigation into the scandal Petrobras . arrest warrant for the right arm of Lula, Paulo Okamoto, president of the Institute Lula.

The investigation takes the name of the state oil giant that has distributed more than $ 2 billion in bribes to politicians of the Party workers, of which Lula was leading.
