a group of armed men struck Thursday evening a waterfront restaurant in the Somali capital Mogadishu, where it is still pending a firefight with Somali security forces. The attack was already claimed by Islamic terrorists of Al Shabaab, linked to al-Qaida. “We attacked the restaurant Banadir Beach and our fighters are now inside” said Abdiasis Abu Musab, spokesman for Shabaab terrorists, quoted by Al Jazeera .

a police officer reported that it is still going on a shooting at Banadir Beach Restaurant of Lido Beach. The attackers threw hand grenades at the police. Moments before the attack of the armed commandos, a car bomb was detonated near the Turkish embassy: as reported by ‘ Associated Press , the suicide bomber did not stop when ordered to and of apolizia triggered the detonation of the car who was driving, by blowing himself up ahead of schedule.
Two killed, dozens wounded
Two women died in the attack , there would be dozens injured. Twenty people have been brought to safety by the police. Thursday evening is the antechamber of the weekend in Somalia. According to local witnesses, the area was full of young people.
