Prisons: Mattarella called Pannella, stop the hunger strike – Leonardo.it

The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella telephoned the leader of the Radicals Marco Pannella asking him to stop immediately the hunger strike and thirst not seriously endangered his life. Mattarella turned so friendly to Pannella, expressing concern for his health.

Mattarella was then complimented Pannella for his efforts to foster the rule of law and the law, expressing his admiration for the stubbornness with which they are carried out and offering his support to the leader of the Radicals.
