NAPLES – The first session of the regional council convened for this morning has been postponed to a date to be determined. This was decided by the senior adviser Rosetta D’Amelio (Pd) after the decree signed by Renzi suspending the regional president, Vincenzo De Luca.
D’Amelio speaks of the need for “appropriate inquiries” as the fourth item on the agenda is the presentation of the program by the governor, a program that can not explain why De Luca suspended. Statutes in hand, the first session of the Regional Council must be convened within twenty days from the announcement of the elect. So no later than July 12. A time frame within which De Luca hopes to be back in the saddle by the judiciary: the appeal against the decree of suspension is ready, will be presented this morning in court and in circles close to the governor there is the hope that is discussed in times rapid, perhaps before 12 July.
