(ANSAmed) – ROME, August 14 – “From May 1, 2013 to date have been arrested 539 smugglers, mostly Tunisians and Egyptians: it is a great achievement that demonstrates the effectiveness of the contrast to the merchants of death. ” He said the interior minister, Angelino Alfano, in Lampedusa for a salute to the state forces engaged on the front of the immigration emergency. “I’m here to thank – said the minister – all the forces in the field to save lives.”
