Fifteen raped, the rapist denies: “It was consensual.” – The Messenger

It has been postponed until tomorrow morning the decision of the investigating judge Eugenio Albamonte on the request for validation of the firm and for issuing the arrest warrants for Joseph Franco, the military accused of raping two days ago in Rome a young girl of fifteen.
During interrogation the man denied the charges talking about consenting relationship. In particular, he denied impersonating police officer admitting he showed the girl his military identification card.

“The girl was consenting,” reiterated Giuseppe Franco n uring interrogation warranty before the investigating judge James Ebner, the presence of the prosecutor Eugenio Albamonte. He reiterated that he had sexual intercourse with the consent of the child and that he had not at all disguised as a police officer.

The version of the military does not seem to have convinced the investigators. The investigating judge has reserved Ebner on the request for validation of the firm and on the issuance of the order for remand in custody. The decision is scheduled for tomorrow.

Giuseppe Franco, 31, is under investigation for sexual assault and impersonation.
