Rome, May 8, 2015 – After months of procrastination the presidents of the Chambers at last made in parliamentary rules the new rules on annuities. For the President Grasso it is “A good sign by the institutions” and the President of the Chamber Boldrini said “It ‘moralization of politics”.
But the majority was split and the new rules on annuities reward some flunk and others. However there are still doubts and controversy about what could have been done better.
continue to receive EUR 5,691 per month even Arnaldo Forlani , former Secretary Dc, despite being sentenced to two years and four months for illegal financing of political parties in the investigation still Enimont: the crime in fact it does not fall between those involving the withdrawal of the pension. Promoted also Domenico Nania (5900 € per month) sentenced to seven months for injuries related to violence in youth groups of the extreme right and the former Minister of Justice Claudio Martelli ( 4,684 euro) despite the conviction by final judgment to eight months for involvement in the Enimont.
Promoted also Gianni De Michelis (5,174 euro per month) despite being sentenced to one year and six months in the investigation of bribes for the motorways of the Veneto, more than six months still to Enimont.
Graziato Giorgio La Malfa (5,759 euro), despite the six-month sentence for illegal financing.
Finally, Paul Pillitteri former mayor of Milan continue to receive 2,906 euro per month in spite of the sentence of four years and six months for receiving stolen goods and illegal financing of political parties
Fail Giuseppe Ciarrapico will not receive more the annuity (about 1500 Euros per month) for the three-year sentence for the crash of the Casina Valadier. Same fate for Cesare Previti (3,979 euro) for corruption in judicial acts, and Marcello Dell’Utri (4424), held in Parma for collusion with the Mafia.
He loses the annuity also Silvio Berlusconi (8000 € per month) for the conviction for tax fraud.
