Roma, evacuated the station Termini man armed with a gun on the rails – The Messenger

Alarm to Rome Termini station. The terminal was evacuated after reporting suddenly come to the railway police of a man armed with a gun seen walking on the tracks.
Recreational army and police, machine guns in hand, they drained people from the tracks and from the front.

The man with his face covered by a cap, would be spotted the first time in metro station Bologna. When reporting to the police arrived the man had already come to terms. Then he was spotted at Termini, while wandering between the rails and the quay. Passers panic have fled outside the station, running to Piazza dei Cinquecento. The station was closed, then reopened and closed again. The man, Italian, was later found at the station of Anagni-Fiuggi and the weapon turned out to be a toy.

State Railways announced later that the movement of trains in Rome Termini station is resumed and was authorized the presence of passengers on the platform area. The passengers who had been evacuated returned in the Roman airport, guarded by several police. Even access to the station are open to the public, but with strict controls by police and carabinieri. The stores, which had been closed during the evacuation, are reopening their shutters.

To control inside and outside the station were employed seventy men of the police.
