Luigina Di Liegro, “tourism is also beneficial to the Romans” – ANSA.it

The grandson of Don Luigi Di Liegro, founder of Caritas, the neo-Head of Tourism Luigina Di Liegro plays a key role, having also its origin, in view of the coming Jubilee. “I’ll take care of tourism to Rome – his debut – I know that tourism is the excellence of our economy and I will work with all departments to ensure that it continues to be strong in Rome, but also in view of the Jubilee not only” . Born in Gaeta, Luigina Di Liegro he moved to the US with his family during childhood. He is pursuing his studies at Columbia University in New York and at Georgetown University in Washington, where he graduated in ‘Analysis of public policies and international relations’. He has held various positions in private companies and public organizations including: Chairman of the Agency for the Development of Public Administration; Councillor for Welfare and Security for the Lazio Region with the Administration Marrazzo in 2009. And ‘engaged in voluntary activities at several non-profit social organizations. It has contributed to the drafting of the Annual Report 2011 of the Consorzio Tiberina. Of Liegro was among the founders of the International Foundation Don Luigi Di Liegro-based non-profit organization in Rome, strongly committed to supporting people with mental distress and their families, offering help to overcome situations of social isolation and emotional loneliness. He ‘was responsible for the Diocesan Caritas of Rome (1985-1997) Project fundraising and organizing major events. Is part of the Respect and Manners for the promotion of respect for human rights and civil society.
Di Liegro points to concrete, visible to the Romans.
