Rome, Marino vara “Phase 2″, Renzi available if there are signs – Reuters Italy

ROME (Reuters) – The mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, today introduced its new administration launched a “Phase 2″, two years after his election and after criticism, even international, for the degradation prevailing in the capital, for months the target of an investigation by magistrates on the intertwining of crime and corruption.

Marino, for his part, admitted that he never imagined, upon taking office, to find Rome in a situation of such gravity, plagued by a deficit of 1 billion and corruption.


        

       

GOVERNMENT CALLS FOR TABLE ROME CAPITAL


       

The new deputy mayor and councilor for the Budget Marco Cause – MP and former member of the junta’s center-Walter Veltroni, and one of the authors of the recovery plan’s financial capital – has announced that the government has called an “institutional table for Roma Capitale “next Tuesday, August 4, to discuss the next Jubilee and the initiatives to relaunch Rome.
