L or tear you consume at lunch at Palazzo Grazioli. But Verdini had already decided to slam the door and say goodbye to Forza Italy for some time. It will do so, taking with him ten senators, after queuing for hours to convince them all, one by one. On Wednesday evening, while Berlusconi dined with senators of Forza Italy, Denis was attovagliato with the right arm of Renzi, Luca Lotti, in a restaurant in Parioli. “The crutch to the government is ready,” was the message former coordinator of the PDL. A crutch of eleven senators whose names were pulled out from Verdini right in front of Berlusconi during lunch yesterday with Fedele Confalonieri and Gianni Letta to act as witnesses.

Compassionate leave since Verdini is not only a Berlusconi in the first hour, forzista from back in 1995; but it has always been the man machine Knight; the lord of the abacus and the director of the largest political operations in recent years. Deus ex machina of the merger with An in 2008, Denis was the most trusted man of Berlusconi enough to be honored as coordinator of the PDL along with Sandro Bondi and Ignazio La Russa. For years he was to do the good and the bad weather in the party having an almost unlimited power in the compilation of the lists. Even on policy Verdini has always been ascoltatissimo by Berlusconi and the true father of the covenant of the Nazarene is really him. Then, however, with the election of the head of state and the subsequent collapse of the Nazarene, Verdini has found himself in a corner.
