New competition for 63 thousand teachers

They landed in the Official Journal (and posted on the Ministry of Education website) notices of competition for teachers provided by the Good School. From Monday, February 29th (from 8.00), and up to 30 March (deadline 14 hours) Candidates may submit, exclusively online, the application.
In the coming weeks, by a notice in the Official Journal scheduled for April 12, will be announced the dates of the written examinations to be held by the end of April.
The places available, as is already known, is 63,712, of which 57,611 common (relative, that is, the various disciplines) and support 6,101. So divided by level of education: Childhood 7,237 (6,933 municipalities and 304 support), Primary 21,098 (common and support 17,299 3,799), level I Secondary 16,616 (15,641 municipalities and 975 support), II Secondary able 18255 (17.232 common and support 1,023). In addition there are 506 seats, covering all levels of education, which will be banned on the new class of competition A023, the definition relating to ‘teaching Italian to foreign students.

The notices will be three, for childhood and primary, to the secondary I and II and for the support, the latter totally new.
It is confirmed the absence of the pre-selection test. So we proceed with the script that will take place entirely in the computer and which includes 8 questions on the subject taught with 2 in a foreign language (English, French, German or Spanish, English compulsory for primary). The questions will be 6 open-ended questions (methodological and not notional) and 2 (in-language) closed questions. The two questions in language include, in particular, five sub-questions, each closed-ended questions. The candidate must demonstrate a level of proficiency of at least level B2. The script will run for 150 minutes. It is provided 45 minutes for the oral: 35 for a simulated lecture and 10 of dialogue between the candidate and the committee. For some classes of competition there will also be practical tests.
In the assessment of the securities will give value to, among other things, the enablers securities, the previous service, PhD, language certifications.
