The prosecutor: “A liar ‘

The prosecutor is convinced of the guilt of Logli, to the point that before the hearing Logli called” a liar. ” “Logli carried on for many years an affair with a mistress who was a person of his wife intimate and this demonstrates its ability to simulate and tell lies,” said the prosecutor, wanting to highlight the psychological climate of the story. There would also be an economic motive according to investigators, for which Logli would kill his wife to avoid a costly divorce. “The accused – said Giaconi – has taken away a person uncomfortable when he realized that a separation would make him lose everything: the marital home, the money, the children and maybe even work. It is in this context that the murder has matured and this is what I explained to the preliminary hearing judge. ”

The children were not plaintiffs

Outside the court of Pisa a large group of cameras and journalists, for what is a case in which it was given national importance due to the constant presence of the media. The two sons of Logli and Ragusa, a boy aged 18 and a girl of 14, were not plaintiffs.
