Rome – The “school package” will arrive tomorrow in the council of ministers only halfway. The Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has, in fact, announced in the evening that tomorrow the government will introduce a bill only – asking for their approval in certain times – and not even announced the decree. Why – said the prime minister to his entourage – the government wants to give a message to the Parliament and to involve the opposition in the spirit of the statements of the President of the Republic. In the bill, until tonight, it was expected that the reform would end school for children (a single educational path from zero to six years), interventions related to disability and to “support”, a new single text regarding school regulations, measures for the right to study. He was expected and announced a decree for the most substantial of the interventions. It is not impossible that some of these are reproduced in the bill which will be launched tomorrow. Certainly, with the timing of a bill, it would be more difficult to realize the assumptions promises for September. Assumptions that were to enter the decree law and constitute one of the pillars of interventions designed to improve the education system in our country. Provided 180,000 “inputs” (recital but also about 60,000 seats of the announced contest for teachers) fishing from lists are exhausted, by suitable and winners of public competition (that of 2012) and, to allow a coincidence between needs and organic ( There are subjects, such as mathematics and physics, where teachers are scarce and disciplines that it was decided to strengthen) also drawing from the lists of institution (providing this category of temporary workers before a forward contract for another year and then a sort of ” fast track “for the competition which will be launched in October). At this platoon of teachers were expected to add alternates who have more than 36 months of vacancy, as a result of the implementation of the judgment of the European Court of Justice. For them – a few thousand according to the interpretation of the Ministry of Education, much more restrictive than that of auditors – was thought to compensation, also in order to avoid further litigation. Another chapter entered “in the running” is that of private schools, accompanied by some controversy. The idea was to propose a tax deduction for families who send their children to the playing field. Also in the decree also the careers of teachers (with salary increases of 70% linked to about 30% and the remaining length of service), the strengthening of some subjects such as music, art, foreign languages, the strengthening of school and work.
