In the same hour in which the workers marched to Rome, the Secretary for Education, David Pharaoh, kept saying that the bill will become law in June and that you understood the reasons for the protest: this strike is “incredible”, as with “The measure will take a hundred thousand temporary workers, is investing school 3 billion euro and 4 on school.” Thus, the protests have grown even more.
At the Unity Day of Bologna, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Liberation, there was the crowd of people who marched in the capital. But it took just a few dozen people, students and teachers, belonging to the grassroots committees, to stop the ongoing debate. As soon as he started talking about the minister Giannini, the protesters began to beat spoons and forks on pots and pans impendendole actually talking. So, after just 20 minutes, the debate has turned into an unexpected ‘break ranks’.
On the stage there was also the senator Francesca Puglisi, responsible for School and University of the Democratic Party. Shortly after, on Twitter, Renzi has improvised a repartee with his ‘followers’, including the protesters: the prime minister said that “we are taking a hundred thousand precarious”.
