An explosion, then the collapse. It is coming down as well, around 20.30, in the municipality of villa in Bagno a Ripoli on the outskirts of Florence. A man and his two daughters, 7 10 years have been extracted alive from the rubble. He has been, instead, the mother: the body without life of Valentina Auciello was found by Firefighters in the night, after hours of research. The father, Roberto Mantione, the owner of a pet store, is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the hospital of Careggi: this is burned in serious conditions. His two daughters, Gem and Cristal, are hospitalized at the p ediatric hospital Meyer: both, especially the smallest, have extensive burns all over the body.

The detached house, consisting of ground floor and first floor is completely collapsed. "The relief efforts were immediate, but it is as if it were a earthquake", commented the mayor of Bagno a Ripoli, Francesco Casini, among the people who rushed in via Villamagna, where you collapsed the house, which is part of a sort of village farmhouse, in the locality of Nurse, in the hills. The alarm was raised by neighbors after hearing a loud bang: to cause the explosion may have been a gas leak.

To confirm this hypothesis the call received last night by the maintainer of the property, in which Mantione complained of a strong smell of gas in the area. The hypothesis of the police is that the man and the family members have felt the smell and, after the call, their entry into the house may have caused the outbreak.
