Five workers who were carrying out road works on the highway 7a in the town of Nola (Naples), have been overwhelmed by a heavy goods vehicle in transit: the budget of the accident, according to initial information of the fire brigade, is two dead and three workers wounded. The teams of firefighters have been working for the safety of the tract where, shortly before 11, took place the ‘accident.
The’ accident – the causes of which are under investigation – took place the highway 7 / bis “Terra di Lavoro” at km 43.150 – towards Nola (Naples). According to preliminary reports the heavy vehicle, probably out of control, swept the employees of an undertaking on behalf of Anas was performing cleaning operations of the bumps. The traffic towards Nola, is currently diverted towards the exit mandatory Cis Nola.
