Renzi, GDP was up 1 percent – BBC

15:49 (ANSA) – ROME – GDP rising 1% and 2.4% deficit. They are the numbers that appear in the thirty slide spread from Palazzo Chigi to illustrate the work of the thirty months of Renzi government. The slides comparing the decline in GDP of 1.9% “yesterday”, that is, before the arrival of Matteo Renzi to the government, with + 1% of the “Today” that, say government sources, corresponds to the forecast more low of 2016. the 2015 closed with an increase of 0.8%, while for 2016 the Def indicated in April an increase in GDP of 1.2% (estimate subject to review in the pending update the Note September 27). The same Def stared for this year a deficit-GDP ratio at 2.3%. Even in this case, the slide contrast the 3% of the pre-Renzi with 2.4% of “today”.
