VAST – A boy in trouble, in a rough sea. And three friends who dive to save it. And ‘it ended in tragedy the summer afternoon of four young Penne, in the province of Pescara, two of them brothers. They were in one of the most beautiful places in reserve Punta Aderci, in Vasto, in the Chieti. One of the young men tried to swim, despite the difficult conditions of the sea. The strong north wind prevented him from returning to the beach. The other three guys tried to save him but the waves were pushing them increasingly insidious off. Some tourists have called for help seeing the whole group in trouble. Two are attached to the poles of the overflow often out of sight of those who watched helplessly from the shore. The helicopter incoming class ‘Nemo’, used for search and rescue at sea, allowed issarne two on board with the winch, while a third managed to touch the ground with the help of a mattress. Until now it was only recovered the body of Marco Riccitelli, 29 years – the body was taken to the hospital morgue in Vasto – while Claudio Basilavecchia, 24, is currently dispersed. On the spot also came an ATR 42 to help in patrolling, along with a patrol boat Office with Maritime District. But so far the investigations have not been successful.
