Rome, April 1 – Silvio Berlusconi and Matteo Salvini have closed the deal on the regional elections. Forza Italy will support ‘outgoing President Luca Zaia in Veneto and the League will support’ MEP Giovanni Toti in Liguria. In Umbria, the common candidate will be ‘Claudio Ricci, Mayor of Assisi. In other regions Forza Italy and the League will present independent of each other. The League has also confirmed its intention not to submit their lists in Campania.
