In spite of the express prohibition of Beppe Grillo, M5S Parma has reached an agreement with the Democratic Party and center-right to elect a representative of the Democratic Party (or the Mayor of Bicester or to Salsomaggiore) as President of the Province of Parma. Federico Pizzarotti will be nominated as a provincial councilor in the unified list.

The plank cross will bring together all the mayors of the territory of the various political parties: the Democratic Party, M5S, center and civic lists in elections in which vote only councilors and mayors.

We will wait for the deadline for the submission of lists (Friday) to make official the initiative, scheduled next Friday, but the agreement was reached among the major directors of the reality of Parma, Mayor of Parma in the first place.

In recent days, the first indication of Beppe Grillo not to participate in future activities of the provinces, it was precisely Federico Pizzarotti to indicate the path of institutional list only. The proposal was initially rejected by the Democratic Party, however, in the face of an internal rift, he eventually accepted along with other political realities of the region. It is not excluded, however, that a group of dissident directors of the Democratic Party may submit an alternative list, in disagreement with this decision.

In the light of the weighting of votes (which sees the Democratic Party advantage in the M5S despite the government’s provincial capital) the agreement provides for the presence of the mayor of Parma Federico Pizzarotti as simple counselor. For the office of president of the province are vying for the Democratic Party mayors Andrea Massari Fidenza and Salsomaggiore Philip Fritelli.

Beppe Grillo, from his blog, he had given an indication categorical: “M5S not continue to submit their applications in a political body which advocates the abolition. Do not give in and we do not flattered by the prospect of acquiring chairs, or even from any victories in some provincial elections. ”
