GATTICO 23 GEN – will be held Saturday at 14 starting from Town Hall Gattico the funeral of former Minister Franco Nicolazzi all dead ‘ age of 90 years on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in the Clinic “San Carlo” of Arona where he was staying for a few days. He had not recovered from the sudden illness that had struck January 3 at his home in via Mazzini 84 in Gattico where he lived with his wife Candida, married more than sixty years ago, and by whom he had a son Massimo. Admitted to the Hospital Ss. Trinity Borgomanero his health had appeared suffered very serious, so as to render unnecessary any therapy. The funeral has been set up in the council chamber of Gattico which will be open Friday from 17.30 to 19.45 and Saturday morning from 8.30 to 12.30. In the country where for more than thirty years Nicolazzi was mayor the city administration headed by the lawyer Andrea Zonca has declared three days of mourning. Saturday after the funeral ceremony that will be celebrated in the parish church dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian, the body will be cremated and the urn containing the ashes of the old Social Democratic leaders will be buried in the family grave in the small cemetery Revislate.
