Lucia Borsellino, the daughter of Judge Paolo killed by the Mafia in the attack of July 1992 will have an escort. After being unwillingly involved in the case of alleged interception between the governor of Sicily Crocetta and his former personal physician Matthew Tutino – with the latter that he uttered the phrase “Lucia has to meet the same fate of his father” – the now former regional minister of Health saw assigned an armored car and two bodyguards by the Committee for the order and security of the Interior Ministry. The decision, which was adopted in August, would be linked to investigations on health and also, but not only, to the numerous complaints made by the daughter of the magistrate when he was regional councilor. In that capacity the Borsellino has provided extensive cooperation with investigators, as also recognized by the chief prosecutor of Palermo in the aftermath of the arrest of Tutino.
