Boldrini prodding the Senate to approve the law on citizenship. FI arises: do not give orders – The Messenger

Clash between the president of the Chamber Laura Boldrini and Forza Italy on the law for the
citizenship. A front on which Italy “is out of time,” according to the Speaker of the House, where the new tempered only jus was approved in October and now the Senate must therefore examine it “fast.” “It is not – it says Boldrini – the perfect law, but it is a breakthrough. Our country is aging, and we must encourage family-friendly policies and recognize that there are new Italians. ” But Forza Italy does not agree and attacks Boldrini in the method and the substance.

Paolo Romani, president of the senators of Forza Italy, describes as “deplorable” the fact that the chairman of the House

“Claiming to dictate the agenda of the Senate.” “The measure – he added – must be changed radically. And we will fight in the Chamber. ” On the other hand, highlights the Vice President of the House Simone Baldelli (FI), the Senate “has every right to discuss, examine, modify, approve or reject the measure, in the times that autonomously decide to be.”

in the Senate, the measure was incardinated in the Constitutional Affairs Committee immediately after the ok of deputies (with no FI, FDI and the League and the abstention of M5S) but, after being discussed between December and April in few sessions and have seen the end of the amendments attached to the 27th of that month, then disappeared from the schedule. To take the field next to the Boldrini, however, is only the president of the Committee for Social Affairs of Mario Marazziti Room (Democracy Solidarity-CD), first signatory and supporter of a bill on citizenship submitted in 2004, he hopes that Parliament can give the final green light to the text within the year. For the rest, you recording your voices against the Azzurri, as the Vice-President of the Senate, Maurizio Gasparri, who invites Boldrini not to “give orders” in the Senate: “We demand the autonomy of the Senate – he said – that can not be pressured of any kind, and you must have all the time necessary to examine

and especially to change a ridiculous law. ”
