The Democratic Party minimizes the case D’Alema but now sees conspiracies everywhere – the Journal

Rome – “there is no case D’Alema. He has denied all in more than one occasion and will vote Giachetti. ” It is the party president to dampen the controversy, born after the publication of an article in the Republic in which it was alleged that D’Alema was going to vote for the Rays in Rome and form a common front with the no committees for constitutional referendum October. Matthew Orfini put everything to rest.

So, no conspiracies. Nobody iconoclastic outburst. No Carbonari. D’Alema will vote Democratic Party (so Giachetti) in the runoff. And in this sense his words as alike as drops of water to those of the former leader Maximo. Only the latter replies angrily against the “plot”, he said, signed four hands by Republic and the wide leadership of the Nazarene. While the former seems to be saying that it was a simple quid pro quo. A simple mistake without malice. The two (Orfini and D’Alema) also resemble the use of paradoxes elegant irony and a bit ‘sour. It seems to see D’Alema, but Orfini, saying: “Why do not you do a little ‘leafleting for Giachetti, just to give a plastic image of denial?” A muscle test, the one shown by Orfini, which perhaps – malign the know – betrays a certain apprehension about the game that counts, not the administrative, but that of the October referendum.

Now to the Nazarene Largo see conspiracies everywhere. Beginning with those to sabotage the mother of all renziane reforms, namely, which will have to pass the examination of the referendum of October. And look askance own many of the No committee, where if the nomenklatura piddina is poor, there are plenty of simple activists and sympathizers of the Democratic Party. Conspiracy theorists, however, are also on the other side of the fence. And there are many, from the same D’Alema, speaking (though quietly) ambush. The Republic scoop would – according to them – had the order to put cornered a major enemy and still very influential as the former prime minister.

The alleged endorsement for the aspiring mayor grillino would, in short, , an excuse to ferret out those who plot for the No referendum. But this is also a hole in the water, according to the Direct considerations concerned.

“The will to engage in the referendum campaign – said D’Alema – has been announced several times. I felt, however, to avoid pronouncements in order not to cause exploitation in view of the administrative, urging to focus on Sunday’s ballot. ” D’Alema then also quotes Tomaso Montanari, the scholar that the Rays would like commissioner for culture and that D’Alema would be encouraged to accept the assignment. “Thomas is a friend. I spoke with him -racconta D’Alema- who asked me for advice and I decided to tell him that his commitment to Roma would certainly be good for the city. I confirm that opinion. “

It is the underlying problem: who stands to gain all this fuss? D’Alema has no doubts: “This is a frame-up. They’re looking for a scapegoat because they think Sunday’s results will not be satisfactory as they would like. “
