(AGI) – Lecce, March 21 – A robbery to hawkers damage of shoes, which were supplying the commodity to be sold at the weekly market of Lecce, and ‘was put to sign this morning in the area of ​​the capital of Salento Stadium. Three men, masked and armed, blocked some traders, wounding one with the butt of a gun and firing several shots into the air. The incident ‘happened around 5 am, when wholesalers and retailers find themselves in the square near the stadium, for the sale of products to then place on market stalls. The robbers arrived on board a dark Atos, armed with rifle and pistol and approached the groups engaged in trading. Some sellers, as soon as they realized what was happening, fled while others were threatened with weapons. One of the traders tried to refuse to hand over the money but a robber hit him with his rifle butt, taking away 300 Euros. The three men then exploded a few shots in the air to cover the escape and climbed back in the car in which they had arrived. Traders phone then alerted the police, who sent in place some steering wheels and then the agents of the Flying Squad, who collected the testimony of man robbed and colleagues who were with him.
